Do you want to talk about law changes affecting our communities?

Law reform conversations for our Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer, Sistergirl and Brotherboy communities.

There are many different moving pieces of change happening right now in Queensland to do with law.

QC wants to invite you to be a part of conversations about the law, changes and how it affects our lives.

These changes affect our lives in different ways, and we want to make sure you’re a part of the conversations about our lives, families, friends, communities, sexualities, bodies and genders.

There are different law reforms happening in different ways, and we want to make sure we can give all folks in our communities the opportunities to be a part of the conversations.

What’s being looked at and what are they called?

  • Births, deaths and marriages certificates

  • Sex education and respectful relationships in Queensland schools

  • Vilification and hate speech

  • Voluntary assisted dying.
