Intake/Drop-In Worker – Gayawur Rainbow (Gimuy/Cairns)

Please check back in for future job vacancies and opportunities.

QC began as a volunteer-run, community organisation as a response to the HIV/AIDS crisis in the 1980s. In 2004 we expanded our focus to include the health and wellbeing of all Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans Queenslanders, and in 2013 included Intersex Queenslanders. We now cover all Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy communities.

We need volunteers to work in a range of areas, from outreach to gay venues, health promotion at LGBTI events, graphic design, fundraising and visiting older LGBTI people (and even some gardening at our Cairns office!). No matter where you live throughout our vast state of Queensland, we may have volunteering opportunities available.

Read and fill in the Volunteer Registration Form online, to express your interest. By pressing submit you agree to all conditions on the form.

You will be contacted and advised that your details have been registered, and provided more information regarding your chosen area for volunteering.
