Led by you. Owned by you. With you.
The Queensland Council for LGBTI Health (QC) has been a home for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer, Sistergirl and Brotherboy people and communities in Queensland for over 40 years. We are proud to be a community led and community owned health and wellbeing service, representing the diversity of our communities. Walking with you to find the support you need. Changing to meet our diverse communities needs.
Our Programs
Inclusion Statement
QC expects that all service users and visitors to QC, including family and support people of service users, will respect that QC is an LGBTIQ+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy inclusive service and does not tolerate homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, discrimination towards people with innate variations in sex characteristics, erasure of identities or other forms of discrimination, and it is your responsibility to behave in non-discriminatory ways.
2Spirits Program
We are committed to helping every member of our diverse communities feel safe, valued, represented and supported. 2Spirits is committed to developing pathways to walk and work together in partnership with agencies to grow health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTIQ+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy people across Queensland.
QC Disability
The Queensland Council for LGBTI Health (QC) has been proudly working with our Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer, Sistergirl and Brotherboy communities in the disability space over the past 18 months, with consultations and learnings, in partnerships with organisations, groups and our communities living with disabilities.
GP Family Practice
We have a unique and exciting opportunity for full or part time GPs and accredited Mental Health practitioners to join our QCGP+ multidisciplinary health team. QCGP+ is an inclusive chosen families general practice run by the Queensland Council for LGBTI Health (QC) based in Brisbane.
