A gentle, beginner-friendly sewing workshop designed to help you get familiar with a sewing machine and practise a few simple, practical clothing alterations.
In this one-off session, LGBTIQA+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy community members can learn basic sewing machine skills and try out easy alterations in a relaxed, low-pressure space. Bring along a piece of clothing you’d like to adjust, mend or personalise - or practise using items from our Rainbow Threads community wardrobe.
No prior sewing experience is needed. This workshop centres accessibility, creativity and confidence-building rather than perfection - it’s all about learning the basics and giving things a go.
Places are limited, so registration is required.
