At QC, we provide inclusive, compassionate mental health support designed specifically for our Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer, Sistergirl and Brotherboy (LGBTIQ+SB) communities. Our experienced team is dedicated to delivering trauma-informed, evidence-based therapies tailored to meet individual needs. Mental Health Services Currently in Meanjin Brisbane, our mental health team provides a range of therapeutic approaches to support your journey, including: Trauma-Informed Care Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) (experienced clinicians, though currently not running groups). Available Programs & Services  We offer mental health services under various programs and funding options to ensure they are accessible to all who need them:  Medicare Better Access to Mental Health Initiative and Counselling under NDIS Our services are accessible under the Better Access to Mental Health Initiative and are eligible for a Medicare rebate for folk who have a Mental Health Treatment Plan from their GP. We also offer services funded through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) for folk with an NDIS plan that is plan managed and includes funding for therapeutic supports. BMind LGBTIQ+ Program and the Regional Suicide Prevention Program (RSPP) Through funding from Brisbane North PHN, eligible community members can access up to 12 free counselling sessions without the need for a GP referral. This service supports LGBTIQ+ individuals who live, work, or play in the Brisbane North catchment area.  Eligibility Criteria for BMind:   18 years or older (people under 18 may also be referred under BMind and will then be referred to our partner organisation Open Doors Youth Service for BMind counselling Part of our LGBTIQ+SB community  Hold a concession card  Not currently accessing NDIS  Eligibility Criteria for Suicide Prevention:   As above; and Currently experiencing suicidal ideation and/or have recently been hospitalised in relation to suicidality and/or are impacted by the suicidality or loss by suicide of someone they know Important Information  Our BMind and RSPP services aim to offer short-term, accessible mental health support, with some programs providing up to 12 sessions per individual. Wrapped 'N Ready QC has a condom program called Wrapped 'N Ready (or wnr), which allows individuals and organisations in Queensland to order condoms and dams online. Our free Wrapped 'N Ready condoms are available in a bigger and regular fit with water-based lubrication sachets. Dams are also available. Organisations wishing to order bulk resources and supplies for an event are invited to email wnr@qc.org.au . Please allow up to 5–6 weeks, plus postage time. Condom packs and dams are ONLY available to individuals or organisations/services within the state of QUEENSLAND. Consistent use of condoms and water-based lubrication is the most effective way to reduce transmission of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Despite consistent use of condoms and water-based lubricant, it is still possible to acquire an STI, so regular STI testing is recommended. Queensland Health funds the Wrapped 'N Ready program, so it requires some age and self-identifying gender information to be able to analyse who is utilising the free condom program for the purposes of reporting, including for the use of the funds and requests for future funding.
