Join us for a relaxed, hands-on clothing alteration workshop facilitated by a queer non-binary seamstrex. This is an inclusive space to learn practical sewing skills, experiment with style, and make small changes that help your clothes feel more you. In this workshop, we’ll focus on practical alteration skills such as cropping tops, rolling sleeves, and hemming, alongside more creative and body-affirming techniques like adjusting waistbands for different body shapes or transforming pants into shorts. No sewing experience needed - this is about learning, trying things out, and supporting each other. Bring items from home that need some love, or explore our on-site Rainbow Threads wardrobe. The activity is being offered monthly as a short-term trial during February and March. We’ll be using it to learn what works well for community and to help shape future programming.
